Checked with Kolkatta airport and Heathrow, and the plane has taken off and is en route! It should land at 3.10, and so DD should be back at the school between 5 and 6. I can't wait to have her back! I would never have tried to stop her going, but I have been so anxious the whole time, particualrly the last four days when I knew she wasn't well, and didn't hear from her.
Thank you to everyone for hugs and warm thoughts!
Off to do the weekly shopping now, then have to take DS2 to buy new trainers. He's off to Normandy for four days next Wednesday.
We're supposed to go to France fo the day tomorrow, but that's not very likely now, we'll have to see how DD feels tonight.
Grey and chilly here, with rain forecast, so I think I shall be doing something indoors.
johanne - hugs to you and OH, will be thinking of you both today.
mudbath - thank you for the mantra - will tell DS1 to send your share;)It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Johanne, thinking of you and your partner today x
:rotfl: see I knew I'd not be the only one who the even mention of a big sale in Ikea makes shudder at the thought of the traffic nevermind anything else!
Well we've all still got colds, it's dark, wet and cold outside which is not the weather you need to help you feel better. Suppose the only thing we can guarantee when it's the kids holidays is rain. DS2s getting on my nerves, moaning and keeps crying on, he's bored more than anything else as he likes being outdoors, I'm not stopping him playing out there (got the firm belief of a little wet never hurt anyone) but he's soon getting fed up and comes back in. Dogs look at my like I have 3 heads when I try to get them to go out, Luke refused to go out from 7pm last night until 9.15am today, wimp.
I'm dressed, have fed the boys, got them partly dressed, eaten lemon curd on toast and drank coffee. I have ignored emptying the bin because of the rain, refereed between DS1 and 2s first squabble of the day then plopped myself on the sofa with a box of tissues. I think I should go and brush my hair (it's doing that bush backwards thing) finish getting DS2 up then I need to get DP up to watch DS1. Will see what fruit and veg we need aswell before we go and pop into Aldi on the way back for that (thanks for the reminder tracy) as I don't fancy braving the outdoor market in this weather when I am full of cold.
Have a nice day everyone, I'll no doubt pop in this eveningOne day I might be more organised...........

I can't fault our doctors. I phoned up at 830am to get an appointmet for dd (she's got aliens coming out of her nose now) and to see about physio. At 905am I was seeing the doctor. Great service. DD has got an ear and nose infection so she's got antibiotics.

Right I have to make one quick phone call and then do the first box of the nearly new sale stuff. My aim will be one box at a time - just need to find the sellers pack of labels etc.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi everyone, been busy the last few days. Yesterday sold 3 books on amazon, freecycles a dishwasher and 6 books. So i'm pleased still have loads to get rid of and i'm not sure yet weather to ebay or just freecycle
not sure i have time for ebaying.
Had all 3 kids in yesterday at the doctor (we seen the new doctor and he is rather very good looking) DD's glanes are like golf balls so need to keep an eye on her, DS1 his excema is flared up and his lip is infected, DS2 has excema now as well but very mild. Phew all kids went hyper while in and the doc took the 2 boys by the back of the neck down the stair to pretend to throw them out, there faces they were ready to fight.:rotfl:
Hope everyone is well and big hugs to Johanne and your OH.
I plan not to be on too often over the next few weeks and very little flying will be done until i get rid of the [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] stuff that we no longer need and hopefully i won't buy anymore crap so it will be easier to manage. If i don't report back in 2 weeks i've got lost in a room of stuff.:rotfl:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Morning!
Managed to sleep despite dreams of finding DS2's bones in the TD. Slept quite well to tell the truth and the later dream of The Daniel Craig took my mind off the TD.
Swollen gland in my throat is not going away despite my best efforts think I will have to go see the GP if it's still like this on Monday. Should give it some more time to go on it's own.
Must go to asda today, and get a card for DS2, he will be 3 tomorrow! DH working so we will celebrate on Sunday. I think we are taking 'the kids' (ie a few cousins and my friends two) to the softplay, but better get some stuff for the house too. Wonder if asda sell a power rangers cake?
Have to also phone the garage. Kwik-fit quoted me.... £500... to replace 4 brake disks and pads! I was quite faint! Garage quoted DH £240 but he was unlcear on whether that was for all 4 or just 2
Kids room is a disater. You can't even get to the bed!
And it's back to a no with that house, but I feel a yes coming on again.... Basically I don't want to pay more out on a larger morgage at this moment. But we haven't actually got a morgage quote yet! So it's all very much... dunno...
OK list for today!

Usually very little etiquette on this thread:rotfl:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
