that's the only thing i'm dreading if we to do to the states. I won't know many people so i'll have to be brave and friendly. Scary - I might just stick to my virtual friends on here!!

Are you planning on emigrating there?

We might end up having to move back to South Africa. Not ideal, but when our lease is up (possibly at the end of July) we won't be able to afford to rent anything else here. Our money is going nowhere. We would have a place to live for free in SA, could grow our own veggies, but the work situation isn't ideal. We are going to have to make decisions quite soon.

Just had to phone the OU - I've only just got the paperwork through to register for my course, and it had to be back TOMORROW  Registered over the phone instead ;):rotfl: Should I still send the paperwork off do you think?

With all this filing it looks like I'm going to have to look into getting some more shelving or a cupboard or something for the livingroom to put all these papers and folders in. Bookcases are just not deep enough and I'd rather have a shelf of lever arch folders lined up then a filing cabinet, or a cupboard for all the boxed games. Whatever I get it needs to be easy clean and the bottom raised off the floor otherwise it will start growing mould. Black plastic shelves are looking most likely as I've already got some in the livingroom :rotfl:

What to do for tea.....:confused::confused:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

ok.. I've had it.. I hate ebay again lol.. I've spent literally all day packaging up and sorting out and though I have managed to rid myself of an empty box I have to spend 3 hours int he PO posting it all with the 5 children.. and it'll probably cost about £400 to post it all and by the time I am done the queue will be huge.. I think may have a headache!! .. When I get back I need to wash my nest and have a shower and sort out 4 jumpers so i can go collecting.. ooh.. where did I leave my shoes?

I have 2 ebay things in the wash and one missing still.. how on earth can you possibly lose a pair of boots that have been hanging around for the last 3 years??? and while I was packaging up another 3 sold!!!

Lunch is on (DS2 was sleeping on the sofa for ages DS1 was a bit hot and cranky and not hungry)
    Kitchen S&S
Kids out back playing with chalk
I'm sure I have done more....

Now having a look at kitchens and going to make a to-do list for that house before we decide what we are doing. DH seems keen to make a bid which means he MUST like it as he has always said he has no intention of moving at all! I also have to have a look at how much the morgage would cost if we took the extra to do it up.

I think the reason I'm suddenly shy of it is I'm scared! Buying this was easy as it was our first, not much to be done to it and we were desperate! Plus it was a private sale so no getting out bid. Up here we use offers over, so the house is at £83k, but we would be looking to offer £95 max.

    Lunch and :coffee: time.

    Mini pizzas anyone?

Draw circle on paper and cut out - DS1 to help

    Why?

Forgot to say, I sewed on my DS's two badges he got from Cubs last night. If I don't get it out of the way I'll be doing it as he's going out of the door next Wednesday evening! :rotfl:

Right, having a coffee, then will set out to PO to cash benefits cheque, then on to school to pick up DS. Need to get dinner started too.

Look at moving up here.. the rent is about £400 a month for a 4-5 bedroomed house! I was looking at a 5 bedroomed house for sale at £90k the other day!

Best go drag tiddles out of her nest.

Justamum - there's a chance we'll go over there for a year with DH's job. It'll be quite exciting as i'll be living near my sister over there so i'll still have family nearby.

Nicki - If I remember this correctly, don't quote me!!, they send you something to sign if you register on the phone. I've not studied with the OU for two years though so i'm sure one of the current OU people will tell you if that's right. Well done on registering - are you excited? xx
