What speeds do you actually achieve on your "vodafone modem which is 7.2Mbps" (upload & download)?:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

this is what the first link has brought up but i am not in a 3g area at the min.
Speed test
Your link from us appears to be about 531.754923Mb/sFor a fast ADSL internet link, look at http://sod.ms/
A non AAISP speed tester is: www.speedtest.net, this also seems good for testing upload.
531.754923Mb/s 531754923 468660 4692440 0.066722
where i live is a 3g area so should be better0 -

Please delete the following from your above post, as I have done in the quote. [IMG.]http://sod.ms/fast/speed/20155.gif[/IMG.]
The downloaded picture does not look good in a forum post!Even in a 3G area, assuming that you have an upload speed of at least 256kbps, I assume that you don't have a router.
What do I need to get started?
1) Broadband cable or DSL high-speed Internet connection (Minimum Upstream Network Speed of 256 kbps);
2) Home Network Router;
3) If your TV cable connection is located in a different place than your Internet connection, you will also need a SlingLink or Ethernet bridge, which brings network connectivity to any electrical outlet;
4) Windows or Mac based PC and/or a Windows Mobile or Palm OS Powered PDA or phone with a 3G Data Connection or WiFi for your remote TV viewing.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
