I'll just explain my situation and then get to my question
I had a PCA in May 2007, while I was recieving Income Support, which I failed. Went to an appeal tribunal and won.
While the appeal was on-going, I was advised to claim IB under Youth rules. Because the appeal had not been heard, I went through another PCA in November 2007, which I passed and have been recieving IB ever since- they back-dated to May 2007.
I know a general review is due mid-May this year.
Will I have to automatically have another PCA as it will soon be 52 weeks, so going from short term to long term?
Or as I had a PCA in November 2007, will they possibly put me onto long-term anyway and re-assess say in Nov 2008?

The best way to find out is to ring your JCP Benefit Centre and ask. No one on this forum can answer your question.0

I know the best thing is to ring my JCP, but they are impossible to get hold of on the phone. Just looking for some guidance from someone who may have been in a similar situation, or has been through all this on IB and can advise.0

If you have had a letter advising a review in May of this year that is when you are likely to have it. You would not automatically have a review due to going from short term to long term IB. To be sure you would need to speak to the JCP as stazi said.0
