new forum
I've tried creating a bi-lingual fforum here as an experiment to see if it can work.
Why don't you pop along and sign up, you can even help me better the site.

It's not strictly bi-lingual though is it as it depends on the language written by the user (unless I'm missing something?). Is someone going to translate all the posts?Torgwen.......... ...........0

The forum itself is bilingual.
It's just an experiment at this stage.
Why don't you join and post your views on the forum?
If I notice that there is a need to translate certain threads I am more than willing to do so.0 -
Is this a MSE forum? If so why create a forum that English speakers cannot read? Do you wish to exclude them from some MS tips or else if you duplicate everything it will clog up MSE.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)0

errr.... it's bi-lingual.
I didn't post this message in the Wales forum - it was moved.
I doesn't have much to do with money saving. but I can always add that option.
More than anything it's an experiment to see if a dual language forum can exist0 -
grrr thats such a common misconception and it really, REALLY cheeses me off. not just us welshies, but anyone who is capable of communicating in more than one language....whenever they decide to exercise that right, people start jumping on the "your only doing it to exclude the rest of us" bandwagon.
if you go into a chinese takeaway and the staff there had the audacity to speak chinese to each other would you complain about that?
are you on the maes e forum cymro1170? that would prob be the best place to promote your site to get it off the ground ( i browse occasionally, haven't got around to joining yet)know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

i do see your point, and it does put welsh speakers at a greater advantage than english speaking members would be.
however, it has great potential amongst the welsh learners market, especially if they knew they could post in english, welsh, wenglish - whatever they felt most confident in - and not be shunned for itknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
