i started work in march and told tax credits my new childcare amount per week, as before i started work i was on incapacity benefit and they helped with childcare.
i did not give them the right amount per week as i had not had an invoice from my nursery and estimated based on what a nursery nurse told me , i have now had a correct invoice for april and anything owing from march and i have under estimated by £6.79, can i ask them to change it ??
i know they only accept changes of £10 or more, but this would be altering the estimate i gave them in march !!!
thanks for any help

You cannot change the costs if it is less than £10.
If you get a decent adviser you can ask them to CORRECT the costs not change them and they should be able to do that.
You may be best putting it in writing though as the adviser may refuse as they might just see it as a change and wouldnt do it as it is a difference of less than £10.0 -
