Hey everyone,
I have entered into an agreement with my bank to re-pay my overdrawn status on an account i thought I closed.
Basically I have agreed to pay £50 per month until the amount is paid back. I have been doing this now for 4 months, I went to my bank today to pay another £50 in only to find I have been charged £196 on which I assume is because i am overdrawn.
Surely if i have agreed to pay back money owed they cannot charge me this amount? It means i will never pay back the debt!
Furthermore this account im paying back for is in my previous address which I have tried to change in branch and on the phone around 15 times in 4 years so i am currently receiving no literature either.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated as it is starting to do my head in!
