ASDA Smart Price noodles - HELP

    Asda SP Noodles (Chicken)
    Grated carrot
    clove of garlic
    similar amount of chopped fresh ginger
    soy sauce
    1 tblsp of crunchy peanut butter
    lime juice
    chopped spring onions
    1 beaten egg
    sesame oil

    boil noodles
    meanwhile fry chopped garlic and ginger in sesame oil
    add chopped spring onions
    fry 1-2 mins
    add cooked noodles, stir
    add carrot
    add lime juice, soy, peanut butter
    move noodles to one side of pan, add beaten egg and cook through, breaking up into chunks
    stir fry another 1-2 mins, add a bit more soy

    place on plate, pour glass of wine ;)

    Same here. The flavour packets are a mish-mash of artificial additives, along with too much salt.

    Buy the cheap noodles, dump the 'flavour' packets, and add your own sauce. :p

  • I've been eating these for years but not a veggie so don't look at ingredients(:$). On a VERY restricted budget, 2 packs with flavour sachets made up make a filling luch or supper. I've got 2 lots of x4 coming with my groceries on Wed. hth.
