ASDA Smart Price noodles - HELP

I'm sure that some of you OSers must have these in your cupboard. If you do, could you be a love and have a quick peep and see if any of the flavours are veggie? Even the 'meat' flavoured ones, as this type of stuff often can be.

Tesco online always say if a product is veggie, but ASDA don't seem to and I'm in the middle of an online shop with ASDA at the mo!

Thanks :D

The curry flavour ones aren't, as they contain chicken extract :(.

Curry flavour: the noodles are OK, but the seasoning sachet contains chicken extract and chicken oil.

OOOh, do they all have noodles and a sachet of flavour? If so, then I can just usethe noodles. I thought they would be flavoured noodles rather than some with a sachet.

    Thanks for your replies:D

Sorry, I should have made that clear. Yes the noodles will be plain, it's just the flavouring sachet that is non-veggie.

Is that the cheapest way to buy plain noodles then?

I use the noodles and chuck the sachet as I find them too salty. i flavour mine with chopped sauteed mushrooms and a little soy sauce.
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)

I think so, unless there is a special offer on 'normal' ones. Will go have a look at the weights..BRB......

Yes, I think it is the cheapest way to buy noodles.

    Sharwoods 125g pack works out @ 0.44p per g
Asda own brand 250g pack works out @ 0.23p per g
    Smart price 65g works out @ 0.12p per g

These SP noodles are half the price of the own brand ones.

Thanks for the replies (I'm showing how obsessive I am about prices now, aren't I? :D)

I've just used a packet of these to make veggie Pad Thai and they worked brilliantly! Will be buying many packets next time I'm passing the Asda - what a bargain.
