There is very little popint getting a memory card. It's only used to transfer saves to friends, or back up if you run out of the 512MB on board. and it's any old SD card, you can get cheaper onese elsewhere thanthe "Game" version


And Gameparty is cheap as it's pants to be nice to it. Shovelware at it's best, Avoid it like the plague..

Just ordered this as Wii play is back in stock. £204 delivered & Quidco. Hopefully we will get the 2 nunchucks with it as daughter & OH will be fighting over it if we don't.:rotfl:

Doubtfull. However I'm not sure if you are confused over what you get.

In the box is the Wii, Wii Sports, all the wires, one WiiMote and one Nuncheck. The WiiMote is what you control it with, the nuncheck is secondary to the Wiimote, it can't be used without the WiiMote, and (with one game exception I know of) cannot be used as a 2 player control. None of gamestations deals offer a 2nd controller at all, unless you have bought Wii Play as your game that has a "Free" Wiimote but DOES NOT contain a 2nd Nuncheck.

Nunchecks are £15 each (or at least that's RRP you may get them cheaper). Unless you bought Wii Play you'll only get one controller and nuncheck, with the deal. That said they are not used in all games, Wii Sports you only need a 2nd Nuncheck for Boxing, the rest of the sames don't need them.

Post what you game you bought and if I have it I'll tell you if you need them.

Wii Remote, Wii Sports and Wii Nuncheck is included in the console box and price, so it's not a huge saving, and not exactly the most honest of advertising.

The only difference is Japan where the console is about £150 and Wii Sports is avaialble for £30 more.

I got this last week from shopto.net for £199. Thats the wii console and wii play, just add them both to your basket.

im confused when I go to the £199 deal, add wii Play. the two items are in the basket for a total of £214. why?

oh now it only adds the game, must be due to being out of stuck :?

The total cost is £214 but then if you look in the basket and the total, there is a £15 discount. Therefore with delivery, its £205
