I heard yesterday about more money being given to those suffering from 'energy poverty'. I don't begrudge money being given to those who are in a worse position than the majority, but surely the government should be tackling the energy companies and stop their actions on behalf of EVERYONE, not just the few?
Okay so this thread's more a rant about increasing energy bills, but I don't see the shareholders suffering at all. Where's it all going to end?
(That's not forgetting that the energy companies act in a cartel fashion, one puts the price up and they all do it, it's just a case of waiting to see who does it first, we barely have competition in the energy market anymore with something like only 6 genuinely different suppliers existing and all the others piggy-backing onto them).

The Energy Retail Association is stronger than OFGEM.
Parliament needs a good old fashioned whistleblower.

lol, hello anne. Has that not been the British model for years. Encouraging more people to have children. & to be honest so many of them are unwanted. Not everybody wants children; like me, but we seem to be shafted for it. Looks like the way to go is, Stay Single, Live Merrily & Die Young:D ...goes to change his name to James Dean.0
