Is Swiftcover.com genuine?

I have just been through Martins tips, via Insurance Supermarket .com and their best buy (once I had added back in the protected no claim bonus) was Swiftcover.com
As I have never heard of them and wanted to know if they themselves were part of some Insures insurance scheme I flitted to and fro but could find nothing.
Is there any policing of these companies? Do they pay up when you have a claim? etc. etc.
or am I better to pay another £30 for a more well known brand ?
