Low credit score 654 - which credit card is best?

Hi I also have a credit rating of 654 I was hoping to get a credit card to pay off monthly to improve credit.

According to my credit report I
You make all your repayments on time and in full - no accounts have been paid late in the past six months
You don't have any county court judgments and you have not been declared bankrupt in the last six years

which i presume is good.. However Aqua have refused me are there any other ways to improve my score?

No you haven't.
The so called credit score you are quoting is just a made up number and does not form part of your credit history. It is not used by lenders when you apply for credit.

When you apply for credit from anyone (including the post office) a number of factors are taken into account, your credit history (but not credit score) being one of them.
You could have been turned down for any reason and you won't be told exactly why.

These 'credit scores' are just a ploy by Experian and Equifax to get money out of unsuspecting customers. Don't waste your money.
