For the country I call most of the time, it's only 5p connection (and 0p/min). Today, I pay 1p/min (using another company); which means that if the call lasts for more than 5min, topupnow is the cheapest by miles.

I topped up so my mum could phone me in Thailand,but after she rang the 0808 number I discovered that I was billed 14 pounds on my Sky bill.Could she have done something wrong ? Anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like she dialled the 0808 number, then hung up and then dialled the Thailand number (so the call went out on the default calls provider, Sky).
