They seem to have added some more free countries EG Italy.
No doubt just for a short promotinal period.PF.0 -
Increased price on others though - south africa (landline) has trebled in cost to 3 pence/min (from 1p/min and was originally 0p/min)"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

I'm a bit confused by this thread.
For the ones that are already using topupnow:
1) What sort of problems are you finding with the service? (if any)
2) Are they a serious company? Some people are reporting that prices start increasing after you top-up. Is this frequent?
3) Finally, do you recommend the service?
For the country I call most of the time, it's only 5p connection (and 0p/min). Today, I pay 1p/min (using another company); which means that if the call lasts for more than 5min, topupnow is the cheapest by miles.
I topped up so my mum could phone me in Thailand, but after she rang the 0808 number I discovered that I was billed 14 pounds on my Sky bill.Could she have done something wrong ? Anyone else experienced this?0 -
Sounds like she dialled the 0808 number, then hung up and then dialled the Thailand number (so the call went out on the default calls provider, Sky).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
