Just had a phonecall from euromillions asking me to pay £36 a month to increase my chances of winning by 33%, What do you think fellow DFW'ers, would it be a DFW thing for me to do?

Would it hell as like told the lady very politely that if I was to pay £36 per month i'd want it written on gold plated paper that I was guaranteed to win! cheek of these people.... :rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

My personal opinion is make sure it's ok with their parents but I would rather my children learn to drink responsibly around adults then going out on the streets and necking a bottle og cider down...But that's just me...
Glad she's having a nice day-this one with the diabetes, is this the same one that was poorly when she was little?
Yes it is the same one, she's had a time of it really with all the things going on lately. We had another two appts this week gone (diabetic related check ups-v. good) andon the whole copes with stuff really well. She doesn't drink, and a few of her mates don't so i think i will leave it up to them and ask dd2 to discretely enquire. They know it isn't going to be a rowdy do and will probably be out of here early doors-depending, on stuff.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

She missed out last year, after being being diagnosed with diabetes, so has inflicted a few of her teenage mates on us this year! lol. I am a bit unsure whether to allow alcohol or not as some are 17 and some are 18, nice bunch of kids though and are very supportive of dd. They are all going to cinemas in afternoon and then back here for something to eat. I think i will just play it by ear.
I'd take the attitude that it's best under supervision - but if any one of them plays up, then it all goes dry instantly - dryer than a Mormon convention in the Gobi desert."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
