  • Morning everyone, well am a busy Bob today as dd2's birthday tomorrow. She missed out last year, after being being diagnosed with diabetes, so has inflicted a few of her teenage mates on us this year! lol. I am a bit unsure whether to allow alcohol or not as some are 17 and some are 18, nice bunch of kids though and are very supportive of dd. They are all going to cinemas in afternoon and then back here for something to eat. I think i will just play it by ear.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • I use the Arm and Hammer whitening/enamel repair toothpaste and find it works really well, especially with a electric toothbrush.
Made my pearly whites, um, pearly white!

As for self tan, not advice-I am crap at applying it as well!

You need the Elizabeth Duke gold chain with the doll or clown pendant as well just to polish off the look

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Actually I think that trackies tucked in socks and a burberry scarf might be in order today:rotfl: If I cant remove at least 10 layers of skin with the old brillo pads.

  • Well Bob,
My personal opinion is make sure it's ok with their parents but I would rather my children learn to drink responsibly around adults then going out on the streets and necking a bottle og cider down...But that's just me...

Glad she's having a nice day-this one with the diabetes, is this the same one that was poorly when she was little?

What the hell posesses them to buy that stuff, its
not cheap either! The guy I saw yesterday, the one who told me I was a "skinny witch" had a chain around his neck that must have cost a bomb. Makes you wonder where the money comes from though as I dont think they are all high executive earners somehow:rolleyes:

I think they get Elizabeth Duke vouchers as well as free school meals.
...either that or they're born wearing them!
