About 18 months ago I got some great advise from this forum on buying a 17" laptop. However two days ago I dropped it, Never mind it was driving me mad anyway so I need a new one!
I mainly run Office and web surf, but occasionally have to use Adobe Illustrator as well. I also liked having Itunes on the old one but the cover flow thing never worked fast enough so that would be nice too.
This Toshiba one looks good value at £360 (inc quidco)

I know the HDD is a bit small but this really is to use when away from my main pc so that is not really a problem. I don't know much about AMD so not sure it this is up to it?
Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Vince.

Just to add I have also found this one, it is £100 more but seems to have a better spec. It has an Athlon 64x2 TL-60 processor rather than a TK-55, and a bigger hdd. is it worth the extra or should I stick the Toshiba?
