How/Where do i look to find out whether......

daughter/son-in-law are eligible(sp) for any kind of benefits. She is about to give birth & he is away at the moment serving HM government.

    Please don't take this the wrong way but do you mean he's in the armed forces or prison?

    I wondered this too! If he is in prison, there are special provisions relating to claiming benefits. I don't know what they are in any detail, but it would be best to get specialist advice, possibly from a prisoners families organisation?

    Equally, if he is in the armed forces, there should be a Family Liaison Officer who can help with information x
    Gone ... or have I?
