It's actually there in the instructions if you follow them literally. Click on "Start", click on "Run", type "cmd" etc"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Go to the Start menu and choose "Run". Type "cmd" (without quotes) and press enter. Then type the ipconfig commands that albertross suggested.
