I would go for the Second one!0
-
top one benefits =
DVD writer
Printer & scanner combo **
**Lexmark cartridges are expensive.
Bottom one benefits =
Faster Processor
Bigger screen
Double the size hard drive
Personal opinion would be to go for the bottom one and get a DVD writer and printer / scanner if and when you need one.. All depends on what you'll be using the system for though.0 -
well ive already got a scanner/printer thats fine (a Lexmark so I know the costs!!), so I dont need that anyway.
Is it possible to add a dvd writer to it if I needed to? I'd like to be able.0 -
Yes you would be able to add a dvd writer if you wanted to. Should not be a big problem.0
-
2nd one.
I will have to type this as my message of 2nd one. Was too short.0 -
Well so far its the Mesh thats winning out!
Keep the ideas and opinions coming please and I'll check back on here in the morning. Hopefully I'll buy it then!
Thank you everyone for being so helpful!0 -
Go for the second one because IMHO it has a better processor so it will help you out in the long run as it will be able to run faster and more applications than the first one and the hard drive will come in handy to store Pictures and videos etc and being twice the size it will come in handy. 80Gb on a desktop? I would not go for it.

You've already got a printer. The second computer is a bit more powerful with a bigger hard drive. A new DVD rewriter will cost you around the £30 mark and is easy to install.
A vote for number 2 here. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

You can add a Sony DVD writer to the Mesh, via their configurator on the website.
The first one, is it a branded machine? It doesn't list the warranty, where the Mesh is Return-to-base (at your cost and then wait for them to repair it).
Just a question though, what do you want the PC for/to do? Someone might be able to suggest a better alternative or something more suitable.0 -
if you do go for the Mesh system then buy a DVD recorder to go in it.
Warranty covers what is supplied and data is for you to back up not them. If you have a problem and need to send the PC back they more than likely won't do a backup of your information if they need to do a rebuild.0
