How do pay into LloydsTSB 6.5% isa?

Hi,

I opened an ISA with LloydsTSB in March by transferring money from another ISA to Lloyds.

I wish to now add this year's 3,600 to the Lloyd's ISA but am not sure how to do it - can I do this online via BACs or do I take a cheque into a LloydsTSB branch and give them my ISA account number?

You can pay via cheque with the sort code/account number in the brach without any hassle

You'd think!!
Unless "their system" won't let you pay in until the transfer is complete even though it is after the 6th April.

The money has gone from my old provider but has not yet turned up in the Lloyds account.

I opened a new ISA with Lloyds in March and am waiting for the money to be transferred from the old provider but in the meantime have added this years allowance in already by online transfer - I am a lloyds customer but dont think that should make any difference as i know someone who is not a lloyds customer (except for Isas ) and he has done the same as me
