Miele Washing Machines

Having hunted around this week (25 Aug 05) for a washing machine I noticed that a number of machines made by the above company were offering "free 5 years parts and labour cover" on purchases made prior to end of Aug 2005.

This offer has been extended and now expires 20 Nov 2005 (but the site can't be changed according to one of their sales reps.)

Its easy to offer a 5yr warranty when your product is this good. Me Mum and me both have Miele machines and swear by them. Cost more but as with most things you get what you pay for.

My mum has had two Miele washing machines in the last 30 odd years. The current one is over 15 years. It is used all the time, looks brand new (their enamal process is ahead of the others) and has never broken down. The old one did start to break down after almost 20 years and it became cheaper to replace it than service it. Not bad value. I have a Bosch that is 8 years old and has twice needed a service.

I bet hardly anyone has ever had cause to claim under warranty - Miele machines live forever!
