Ebuyer Claim?

On their website (at http://www.ebuyer.com/special/1574?hpb=1) ebuyer make the claim that:

But I've come across some posts where people almost seem to take it for granted that some ebuyer goods are second hand, albeit in decent condition. I'm sure I've seen a refurbished, or similar, note attached to some items there. So, opinions? If they're fibbing, can they get away with it, since it's a part of their taking-a-swipe-at-laptops-direct page? Surely, laptops direct won't just take it lying down?

Refurbished for other items like cameras but probably never laptops. The claim is only referring to laptops.
