!!!!!!? Today received pre-approved Citi Platinum M'C bumph in post. Have discovered [via this site] they are an arm of Citigroup, who also own Egg. Now as one of the middle-aged, pay off in full every month users who managed to hold on to their Egg Money card through all the earlier culling, why would they be offering me 0% balance transfers, etc? Just off to the shredder!!

Stop your complaining, at least you can get a credit card with 0%!Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Thanks for making me laugh!

You didn't quite manage to get !!!!!! and middle-aged onto the same line but good effort! I thought people of a certain age didn't use such expressions!

Er....I got one too, in January but I'm full of cards..I don't want any more thank you Mr Citi. Not unless your pre-approved limit is over £5K and my guess was that the limit would come in at £500.For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... Aha, now it makes more sense and I see the catch - thanks Bismark - didn't get to see the £ amount before it went to the shredder. Glad to make you laugh - some of us old gits like to express ourselves with a bit of youthful vigour [verbally only these days].....0
