Maplin, CPC or RS. It's signal level so it doesn't need to be heavy duty. 10 core cable won't be cheap though and you ideally need to get the screened stuff.0

Let us now how you get on. The max cable lenght might be 5m...do you live in a small house?0

No I'll need about 50 Meters0

For that length of cable you will have pay for good quality low loss AV Cable, I would try a wireless setup, you can buy equipment to do the job that you require, just shop around and i would start with Maplin.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

For any component video run of that length, you are going to encounter major quality issues due to signal degradation (I would imagine) - I presume paying Sky the extra bunce to go multi-room is out of the question?

Alternately, I believe your Sky subscription will likely allow you to access the sky online service (and watch tv from a PC).

As the distance is 50m, I would look at sending the component video (YpBpR) signal over CAT5 using something like a Lindy component video extender (available from lindy.co.uk). It also passes coaxial digital audio. I suggested this type of setup to a mate and he uses a toslink splitter (£4) coupled to a maplins optical to coaxial converter and sends the component video and coaxial digital audio to another room at the other side of his house using cat5 network cable. Obviously you need an av receiver, home cinema system etc. at the other end to deal with the audio but at least you get HD in two rooms without spending the extra on multi-room. He also has a Logitech 895 remote which works on RF to control the sky from the other side of his house.0

I like the sound of this
(Never tried/seen this working, but the theory sounds 'a little' more likely to be successful)(I'm presuming there is some form of encoding within the extender and the signal isn't just being sent as is?)
