The other day I did a delia white loaf mix (thanks again thriftlady). Split it in half and did one as a normal loaf, and the other let rise, then I kneaded dried parmesan (well the cheap aldi version anyway) and dried onions in (which I had poured a bit of boiling water on to liven up).
Then I made it flat, poured olive oil over the top, sprinkled extra onions on and let prove. Then bunged in oven.
When it came out I poured a bit more olive oil on and sprinkled with a little salt (as I don't add very much when baking).
It's yum (nearly all gone).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Hi NW. Rather than take it out and put it back in the fridge, why not wait until an hour before you need it. Take out, knock back, prove at room temp, then bake? As far as i know, you can leave it to prove too long for the second time, it loses shape and could sink in. I asked PP earlier in this thread I am sure!
I made some dough last night and made garlic chilli flat bread. Went to my friends house and took him all the stuff (flour, yeast, scales etc) and tought him how to make it. So he was as excited as I was, wanting to check it allt he time and stuff! They were blown away by the bread too! Garlic chilli was nom nom nomA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
