Investing £1000 ish until september to pay off a holiday???

Hi all,

I currently have around £1000 to pay off a £2000 holiday. The remaining balance will be saved up until the balance due date of the holiday which is mid sept. The thing is i think the £1000 can be used to make me money rather than paying it off the holiday straight away.
So what i need to know is, is there any account i can put my money into for 5 months, and make money from?

Cheers

Vallster

Put it in a savings account with good interest but no restrictions. Plenty of them around.

By the way just to make sure you don't confuse yourself -

Investing is putting money into the stock market, bonds etc.

What you want to do is Save. There is a difference between the 2. :)
