School trips

Hiya I know this is not money saving, but jst wondered if anyone knew of any good places around the West Mids to take children on school trips?

  • well when i was at school enjoyed lots of trips to Cadburys world in bournville lol for more education theres blists hill/ the iron gorge musuem and the black country musuem. Theres the severn valley railway, and for something sciency the think tank in birmingham! HTH

    Have you tried going on Birmingham city council web site? they will give you details of free and cheap places to go.

    e.g the nature centre at cannon hill park, sheldon farm, blakies hall, Aston Hall. all free apart from the nature centre

    Loads of free places in brum good luck

    You haven't mentioned the age of the children or what part of the curriculum this is to enhance. If you're a little more specific that would help with the suggestions.

    As its for 8/9 year olds and im only presuming here that it is just a fun trip as its getting onto the end of the year....
    Id recommend: Cadbury World, Sea life centre, West Mids safari park, Thinktank, Imax or at a push Dudley Zoo...
