I am studying for an exam, but in one of my books it states that the deafult NTFS permission for the everyone group is FULL CONTROL, im sure this is wrong and has changed in Service pack 2.

Is the default, READ or READ & EXECUTE for the everyone group?
Thanks

If you are working in a network share then the default is read only, if you are reffering to the Security of the file/folder then the Owner has full and special permissions and everyone group if in a folder is list folder contents or read and execute. Tell me what you are trying to do and i will help you.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
