Please could someone help me, since yesterday I've been unable to load through my laptop.I leave it for ages but nothing, the little loading bar keeps on moving up & down but nothing. I tried to reload windows vista this morning & still nothing. Any other ideas? thanks
Also while here, on my main pc, why is it that some dvds will play sound on windows media player & some won't?
Thanks in advance

Reboot and press keep pressing F8 during the boot sequence, a menu will appear- select Last know good configuration.
This May solve it, assuming it will boot this far.

It could be the format of the files on the DVD .
Most DVD discs are MPEG 2 but you may have DivX or Xvid two name but two formats. You would require your computer to have the correct codecs to play them .
What spec are the dvds you are trying to play ,home made copies shop bought downloaded movies ???.
