I haven't posted on this thread in ages but just going through the rewards and the redemption is now back to when it originally started, where they are charging a premium to send out the vouchers!

    1150 points for a £10 voucher :(

    When did it change?

Welcome back, misskool. Pigsback is gone down hill now and its not fun anymore. I think its been 3 weeks since they put up the points.

Sorry for the repeat, but these voucher's are really burning a hole in my ... err ... mantlepiece:cool:
You are able to use these in HMV, but as it's a new partner, they might not know in your particular store, if they refuse, ask them to ring head office to confirm.HTH

You definitley do NOT get less and less with Pigsback - It's official!!

This was my complaint to Pigsback in response to the survey:

Getting to grips with it (the new-look site). Not sure about your ad saying you get more and more with Pigsback. Over the last year or so the clicktroughs have dropped massively in number and halved in value, while the threshold for a voucher has been increased as well. The instant Points quizzes have all dried up unless you are in NI, birthday points are gone and shop and earn points/sign-up points are a bit hit and miss, often requiring e-mails and screenshots.
    >
    > It seems that over time you get less and less with Pigsback! Many members of another forum to which I subscribe are of a similar opinion.
I can only assume that many will leave to find other, more financially rewarding ways to spend their browsing time.

Apparently we are all wrong! Here is the reply:

    Thank you for your email.

I can assure you the number of PiggyPoints being offered to members have not been reduced on Pigsback.com. They are simply spread out more throughout the site. We actually have more PiggyPoints than ever offered to members at the moment. We do not specifically assign PiggyPoints to offers eg: quizzes. Also in relation to Birthday PiggyPoints these have not disappeared. A member must simply be subscribed to Curly's Birthday Email in order to receive these. We will be re-launching this offer soon enough for members who are not subscribed to subscribe.

Regarding the increase in vouchers cost, the costs in running and operating Pigsback.com for the most part aren't passed onto our members. When applying PiggyPoint prices all the costs surrounding labour, administration, handling etc as well the procurement of the Reward have to be considered, not just postage alone.
Based on these business costs, we have had to apply an increase on our Reward PiggyPoint cost as well.
Previously we significantly reduced the number of PiggyPoints so that vouchers were issued in exchange for the equivalent PiggyPoint price e.g. a £10 voucher cost 1,000 PiggyPoints. Unfortunately we simply cannot continue to offer the Rewards at this PiggyPoint price. The is the first ever increase in the costs of the Rewards, and in consideration of the previous reduction, is quite small. The increase is necessary I'm afraid and will help us to continue to provide the offers and Rewards which are on site at the moment.

I realise that an increase in PiggyPoint costs is never going to be welcomed however our PiggyPoint Rewards are more than fair and generous and in consideration that no cash payment is required, either directly or indirectly to order a Reward and the fact that this required increase is part of the operating cost of the website, our members are still getting a fantastic return from their participation on the website.

Shop and Earn PiggyPoints are still credited to members. On a rare occasion a members transaction might not be tracked and therefore not included in the file we receive from our partner. We require proof of purchase from the member in order to investigate the issue. We will always try our best to issue any due PiggyPoints to all our members if they have made transactions via Pigsback.com.

I hope this email has answered your query and put your faith back in Pigsback.com. I can confirm with you you still get more back with Pigsback.com.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards,

    Laura

We require proof of purchase from the member in order to investigate the issue.

What a load of rubbish, when my OH complained about not being credited with points from an ebay transaction, they basically told him tough luck, nothing they could do as it wasn't tracked, even though he supplied them with all the proof of the purchase including the time.

On another hat-trick again with racecaller, trying my luck at 15:40 at Puchestown.
Said that I wasn't going to step on NAR's toes, but he seems to have a few groupies and thought I could have some of that

Only kidding I've been lucky enough to have 4 out of 5 winners this week, the only one that lost was the last tip on here  so going to try again.

The prices of the previous winners were not great, but it's only for the piggypoints (if we ever get them)
