    RaceCaller Tip

    Wednesday 28 May

2 horses to choose from tomorrow.

20.05 Beverley Corrybrough 4/5 or 33/50 Racecaller Price

21.05 Beverley Lindelaan 8/11 or 41/100 Racecaller Price

Cannot decide which to do for racecaller so wife is doing the first and I am doing the second.

Off to Beverley to watch as its only 10 miles down the road then we can cheer them on.

Another to Watch would be Teacht An Earraig at Leopardstown 20.00 who won at the Curragh on Sunday.

    Racing Tip 27 May

    19.40 HEXAM PIRAN 27/100

Racing Post gives the price at 2/9

It is a Chase so big fences but Piran is streets ahead on his rivals.
Well he jumped ok, but @ 2/9 Piran was still beaten by a 14/1 shot Dad's Army.

Yes just watched it, He was hampered a bit by 2 loose horses towards the end and still made a few mistakes. Even the best horses get beaten when odds on. The great Istabraq was beaten when 1/7 by Limestone lad @ 13/2 in Nov 99 at Fairyhouse.

If it was a dead cert we would all be rich.

I notice your tip who looked to have a good chance only managed 10th.

    But thats horseracing for you.

Nar's horse was 5th (9 ran)........ but yep - at the end of the day it's a tip (and for me based on the odds) - not a guarantee.

Yep its just a tip. And the shorter the odds the better the chance of winning. If you are going for the 10 piggy points for the winners then thats the best option.

On a lighter note. Just noticed this when I was checking the winners for today.;)

    Chepstow 15.20 Capt Mainwaring 12/1

    Hexham 19.40 Dads Army 14/1

In the series it was pronounced Mannering but his name was Mainwaring.

Now that would have been a good double. I would deffinately had a £1 double down the bookies on that one.:D
