Hi
This is my 1st post... i referred 2 people to pigsback, my friend is a little clueless with computers so i helpt him register as well as claim his 1st reward-that way i WAS sure id get my 500 points too. However PB state they have no record of him registring via the link, that is a complete liem i was with him so how can they say that. This is there replies:
Hi ,
Thank you for your email.
I have examined your account and I can confirm that you have sent two referral emails. This was on the 5/15/2008. I can confirm that one new member registered through this referral email. This member has not yet ordered a reward.
Unfortunately this means I cannot credit PiggyPoints on this occasion.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Laura
second reply:
Hi ,
Thank you for your email.
In order for us to credit the PiggyPoints for referrals the friend must click through from the link titled 'Click Here To Register' contained in the e-mail. Although it may not state anywhere on the Refer a Friend offer page or in the referral email that this must be clicked on, the wording would suggest this is the referral link and to register the friend should click through from here.
I would also like to assure you the tracking in place for referrals is working correctly and we check this on a regular basis as we are aware that this is a very popular offer amongst our members.
When a referral email is generated a Member ID is linked to the e-mail, we use this Member ID to track referrals as we cannot keep a record of the e-mail address which the referral is sent to. When the friend clicks through from the referral e-mail, they are automatically given this Member ID once the referral is completed successfully.
I have double checked this and I can confirm your friend's Member ID does not correspond with any of the Member IDs which have been generated for your referrals, suggesting he did not register via the link in the referral e-mail.
I am afraid, we cannot issue PiggyPoints for referrals which have not been tracked as originating from Pigsback.com. And on checking your referral records, your friend did not register via the link in the referral e-mail.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Laura
My friend definately did click on the correct part of the email, i was with him, what do i do now? I can't believe i did evrything i had to and they are not giving the points!0 -
I don't understand why there can't be either only the one referral link contained within that Refer a Friend email or that all clickables have the same Member ID signature attached.
Surely if people join from your email in any way you should be rewarded.
It should not be a lottery nor a way for Piggy to claim a wrong click no points.

True!! I am furious, its hard to get these points as it is, someone else had this issue on here before, that's how i knew you have to go via that specific link. I don't know what to do now0

Keep trying razia - if you were "there when your friend clicked it" then tell them and don't give up. If you saw the correct link was clicked then they can't say you didn't see itNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Hi Judy, When you are signed into to your account click on my account. It may ask you to enter your password at this point, do so. Then you will have a screen asking if you want to change your password and on the left of that screen more options, you want to click on My Categories and make sure you have the select all categories ticked to maximise your click throughs.
Hope this helps."Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Look down the left hand side of the page and it gives you 13 options from:
My login details to Cancel my account.
Find what you want to do and click on that.
