    Response from PB:

I would like to respond to you on the Racecaller issue. What Laura has confirmed with you is correct. The Racecaller offer page didn't advertise that you would earn 100 PiggyPoints in March.

I investigated and it wasn't until the 3rd April that it was requested between ourselves and our client Racecaller for this change to be made. This request was made on the afternoon of the 3rd April which means at the earliest the offer page advertised 100 PiggyPoints was on the 4th April. We still gave everyone who registered in April the 100 PiggyPoints.

The issue that you may have seen on Moneysaving expert is that a handful of members got PiggyPoints for registering when they did so in March. However no member who registered in March is eligible for 100 PiggyPoints for doing so as we didn't advertise it! You may be confused because of another forum but what Laura and I have confirmed is true.

You say earning PiggyPoints is harder - it may be harder if you rely on one or two aspects of Pigsback.com, such as featured offers, or PiggyPoints for registering. But we offer more PiggyPoint earning opportunities now than ever before. If you purchase or transact with a partner or an affiliate you're rewarded generously. If you participate on our own forums we have often had forum-specific competitions such as Curly's Lounge where you could earn lots of PiggyPoints. We have many, many fantastic competitions and member submissions where you can earn and win PiggyPoints.

I'm sorry if you're disheartened or that you have lost faith; genuinely I am, but I would like to say that at all times the Member Services team have responded promptly to your queries. Your comments about poor customer service, based on this, wouldn't be fair? It's just that I have reviewed the correspondence and at all times myself and my team have always attempted to provide fast and efficient service. Perhaps you mean the business as a whole though? If you have any specific suggestions or comments I would be happy to discuss with the rest of the team for you.

We do value our members and the website is a testament to that. It's not all about commerciality, it's about offers, competitions and features which keep you coming back, not just PiggyPoints. We want to build a community at Pigsback.com which our members enjoy coming back to, so any feedback is much appreciated.

I've used the internet now for 15 years. been on Ebay for 10, used various cashback, survey etc for years. Never have I hated a company more. I'm cashing in, betting the rest of my points (as an earlier poster suggested), then when I have none, make sure i use the close account button, rather than letting it lay dormant. This way I can't still keep getting their spam, and I urge those of you with similar anger to make sure you do the same.

Chill out, how can someone "hate" a company? It's free to use, a bit of fun for free points. Who cares really if "Piggy doesn't give you sign up points" for some such offer.

Honestly, there are more pressing things in life to worry about...

Trying to book a room through Pigsback to get points however it states that the price is for room only. I thought continental breakfast was included. If I book through late rooms it says continental breakfast included but I would not get my points... can anyone tell me if this is right ? Thanks

According to the link page on Pigsback breakfast is included.

Express by Holiday Inn hotels are the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Comfortable and modern, they offer a refreshing night's sleep at a price that won't break the bank. You can expect a spacious room with Sky TV, an en-suite bathroom with power shower and complimentary continental breakfast. Plus you'll earn 2,000 PiggyPoints when you book too!

Actually this company has annoyed me with their responses and behaviour as a whole. I have never been more annoyed with responses and contact with a company.

Obviously there are more things in life to worry about that is why I don't want to waste too much more time on it and get out of it!

I got 130 points yesterday. Mine says `Transaction with a Partner Racecaller` This must just be from signing up as i have only put a few bets on when i have been bothered, and only won about 2 or 3 times :o so it must just be for signing up i guess:)

The reply I received from Laura regarding the Referral follows:

I have checked your account and I can confirm your friend registered successfully via your referral email. Don't worry, when he orders a reward you will still be rewarded the 500 PiggyPoints. Only members who refer a friend on or after 1st of June will not be eligible for 500 PiggyPoints.

Regarding your Birthday PiggyPoints I can confirm you are not yet subscribed to Curly's Birthday Email therefore are not eligible for birthday PiggyPoints. We are planning th re-launch this offer sometime this year so be sure to subscribe then.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards,

    Laura
