Help with British Gas
Hope somebody out there can answer my question!!
Just under a year ago we moved into a brand new house and since moving in we haven't had a gas bill. After a bit of digging a few months ago i managed to find out that British Gas (much to my dismay) were supplying our gas. I called them to inform them that we hadn't recieved any bills to which they said that it would be sorted out in a couple of weeks. A few weeks passed and nothing so i phoned again with the same outcome, only this time i was informed if this issue was not resolved within 1 year of them first supplying our gas then all gas supplied after that year would be free until the billing issue was sorted.
Needless to say i have now stoped chasing them!
I have had problems with BG before and a far as i'm concerned they are one of the worst companies ever to deal with and i don't trust them as far as i could spit them!!
All i really need to know is if the statement about free gas after a year is true and if not then has anyone had any similar experiences with them?
Thatnks in advance, Grezza75

Not quite right, otherwise you could crank up the heating and not pay for it.
They can only bill you for the last 12 months (not the first), and I suppose you never know when that last 12 months is going to start so you should still keep an eye on your consumption.
I assume (I know) that you are on an independent network (MPR begins in 7)? These are often involved in delays like this.0
