IB50 and medical

I returned my IB50 form end of November but have still not recieved a date for medical, it it normal to take this long ?

In my husbands case he was not asked to go for a medical after the last couple of IB50`s he had to fill in.

It can take a few months to hear anything, I have read of it talking longer than this in some cases. If you are concerned you could phone them to see what stage your claim is at.

I have phoned a few times and just keep getting told have not decided yet if I need medical, just have to wait and see
