British Gas PowerFlush Required or a Con?
Comments
-
My mates aunt had a boiler change done by BG last Monday...
Apart from a leak on the gas by the boiler  (which the kitchen fitter noticed on Saturday)
And leaving the lid & jacket off the header tank
Arrived at 8am
Powerflushed system (8 rads)
Change Boiler & Commision
Finish 3pm
Now perhaps I am too thorough when my boss sends me to do a powerflush, but I would be happy to get the powerflush done in that time!!
£600 on the bill for the powerflush & 2 little old ladys conned!!!
When I told my mate to question if the system had been powerflushed they just fobbed him off.0 -
are you sure it was a powerflush?
BG installers are good at doing a "powercleanse"
basically he turns the filling loop on and leaves the drain open. Probably works a bit but that will be why it only has the 2 year guarantee
