Hi, i have a special balance transfer rate with HSBC which expires on April 22, it then goes to 15.9%. I just called them to see if they can do anything after that. I explained that if they couldn't do anything, I would be swapping the balance to another card and closing it down.
After much transfering around the call centre, a Supervisor told me that if I call back the day after it finishes (23) that they would be able to do something then.
I'm a bit suspicious to be honest, what do you all think?

If it were me i,d start looking and maybes apply for another good deal. I wouldn't trust them to come up
with something on that day. saying that i do think one deal has to finish before another one starts so
maybes thats why they said a day after for you....0 -
Thanks,
I already have a virgin card I could transfer it too, but I'd rather not have to do that in all honesty.

hhmmmm, i have no experience with HSBC but if they don't offer you a deal then they will make about 2 weeks worth of interest off you whilst another card is set up and the BT goes through.
Depending on your balance this could add up to a nice chunk of profit for them.
I would start to get another card sorted.
