instant access savings account

Options
I'm after a high street savings account with the best rate.

I would like to access my money with no penalties and also be able to use the branch.I don't want an internet only account

any ideas which account would suit my needs?

thanks.

What branch savings account do the forum members use it would be good to list them and see what people actually use.

you've got the best research in the link above which you say you've read, so you have all the information you need to make up your own mind - why on earth do you want to make a list - it's irrelevant.

It all depends what Building Societies people have in their local area, its no good recommending say Skipton BS or Stroud and Swindon BS if u dont have a Skipton or S+S branch in your area.

Most on here put most their savings into online accounts and often Branch accounts that are limited issues and now not available to new account openings.
