I've seen the job I want....
Events Co-ordinator for The Great British Duck Race.
    I must have this job!!!!!!!!
    IT IS MINE!

That sounds Faberooney! I want to co-ordinate a Duck race!
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

  • It does sound a good job doesn't it??
I just spoke to one of the ladies that work there and she was sooooo nice-I think I may be a bit outlandish with this one and write my covering letter with a picture of a duck on it or something...And I'm going to hand deliver it on Monday.
It's a varied job, need adaptability, flexiblity etc. Deal with lots of different charities, do 'Duck Days' etc. Fun, intresting etc etc. It's soooo me!!!!

(ok, maybe it would be more me if it was called the GFreat British Bunny Race)

    Part of the Furniture
Afternoon all, just been out for a long lunch with my old workmates, someone was returing. Made me feel a bit homesick for the old place to be honest. So many lovely people with lovely handbags and shoes and hair-dos..... none of that kinda stuff in this place. I mean we all have hair and wear shoes but it's not part of the conversation.... i miss water cooler gossip. mind you in the hour i was there, there were many dissatified murmurs about place so i should know why i left. (nhs so you can imagine!)

But this current job i do is 10 mins from home and pays more, so work/life balance is better... and i have time to surf here, and study in my working day!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)
