Lloyds TSB, when are payments due in on Monday available to withdraw?

Hi, I have just opened a lloyds tsb cash account and am expecting my student loan to go in on Monday (I dont have a student account - ccj, bad credit etc lets not go into that lol).

Now, with my old account at Natwest, I was always able to withdraw my loan (which was always due in on a Monday) on the Saturday before, effectively getting access to the money over the weekend. Does Lloyds do this as well, or will I have to wait till Monday to get my money?

Thanks, might seem like an odd question, but I am a poor student and two days is a long time!

Lloyds occasionally do this with me. If I have a payment going in on a Monday, sometimes they debit my account on the friday or saturday before. I think you'll just have to wait and see.

I can't see them doing it as yet as this is a new account with no history of payments going in

A payment going in is a 'credit' not a 'debit'.

I have a Lloyds current account (not a student account, but it probably doesn't make a difference). Payments into the account on a Monday are usually visible on Sunday evening, but not before.

I've got a LTSB account and I got my student loan in last monday and it was visable from sunday at 2am (ish).

Pretty sure it was only available for withdrawal on monday though. HTH

Thanks guys! I phoned them up today and they told me Sunday evening. They were even able to see the payments as pending.

The money will be visible in your account after 12noon Sunday and almost always before 1pm. It will be available to withdraw at this time also.
