How much for missing hubcap from hire car?
I recently rented a car in N. Ireland, when i picked it up it was all in order. Sometime during my hire period it seems that the hubcap fell off / was stolen. Both my dad and I agreed would probably to cheaper to replace it before returning it, so we attempted to. Only problem was that the garage we went to didn't have the parts so told us to get in touch with another garage, they didn't have it either. Both were able to order it in, but we were returning the car that day. The price we were quoted by the garage was £26. Does anyone have any idea the price the company might charge us? (Europcar) and will it look bad that we didn't own up to it when we reutned the keys of the car.
Thanks

If they didn't spot it when you returned the keys and signed on the dotted line then AFAIK they can't come back later and ask for cash.0
