Income Support And Incapacity Benifit

change your GP and quick. We had a new GP in the area and I was transferred over to her, DLA update came and she denied me EVER being ill (despite the last GP saying I was), this involved mum almost being done for benefit fraud until a hospital specialist jumped in. It got incredibly messy! You need a new GP.
As for benefits, your position is tricky so ask to see a disability advisor at the job centre or see welfare rights in your area.0 -
IF you are in receipt of High rate care for DLA then that is a qualifying condition in itself and you do not need to make a claim for Incapacity Benefit. If not, then to claim IS as a sick person then you will have to make a claim for Incapacity Benefit and supply medical certificates from your doctor to support your claim.
Hope this helps.
HRC of DLA means that someone is exempt from the PCA medical but they would still need to make a claim for Incapacity Benefit.0
