help-no add-ons in internet explorer 7

hi, i have just re-installed windows xp, and downloaded all 103 windows updates, now for some reason when i go to load up internet explorer 7, it keeps saying i am using it with add-ons disabled, how do i undisable it, so i can use add ons, any help gratefully appreciated, many thanks Dave.

done that, it says all my add-ons are enabled, but when i launch internet explorer, i get a screen telling me that add-ons are disabled, also a bar under the webpage box(normally where u need to click when there is something that needs active x) saying the same, the page tells to renable add-ons to close down internet explorer and restart it, i do this and all i get is the same message telling me that the add-ons are disabled, very strange.

scrap that, it has just seemed to have rectified itself, thanks Dave
