Hi there- I set up moneysavingexpert.com as my home page but put an "s" at the end of "saving" by mistake. Now it opens to a blank page and I have been unable to change it through the home page internet options. I have deleted browsing history and tried default settings but no joy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

What browser are you using?
If you are using XP and have security software installed it may prevent you altering the homepage.
Try going to www.moneysavingexpert.com and in the top right is an option "Set as homepage". Try clicking that and provide more info if it doesn't work!
This could also be the work of spyware etc...0 -
Try browsing to the page you want to use by typing in the address then goto Tools / Internet Options and in the home page settings select Use Current0

select 'tools' on the top bar of the browser, then 'internet options' tab, then input your required address, then select ok.
press home, and should be what you put in.0 -
Thanks for the advice. Using XP Home and Explorer 7. Tried all suggestions but still can't change the home page setting, not a big problem just slightly annoying...
Thanks again0 -
download superantispyware and it has a thing to set the homepage on that. Set it on that then delete the program afterwards if you don't want it0

Switch all security tools you have installed off and then try resetting your home page . That dont work could try setting after booting into Safe Mode F8 at boot .
