Hi. Does anyone know of a diary/calendar program that can be networked and accessed/used by several different people on a network?
Thanks for any pointers.;)

Microsoft outlook calendar can be shared, you can set them up on in public folders if you run an exchange server.0

can it be shared without the email etc being shared too?0

Yes and you can choose what permissions the others have to it, full access, modify or read only.0

But unless you've got an Exchange server, you'll have to fudge it with a few third party tools alowing PST folder sharing.
If you have Exchange then it's excellent.
There are many ISPs now which host Exchange services.
Also you might want to look out Google Apps/Calendar and other web ones.0 -
you've lost me now. What's an exchange server?0

It controls the email on an office server. Take a look on Microsofts website. If you have a server at work there is a good chance you are using it.
EDIT: Before we switched to using Outlooks diary at work we used Lotus Organiser. The product is discontiued but you may be able to pick it up somewhere.0 -
WorkgroupShare works well if you don't have an Exchange server.0

Google calendar? They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

I was going to suggest that too - does exactly what is wanted without being complicated and relying on software etc.
As long as they all have Internet access on the network

If you use outlook and simply put the data file in a shared location on the network, that's the simplest fudge possible.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
