Sky TV Remote control setup help needed

I have a Sony Bravia TV with integrated freeview and have programmed the sky tv remote code 0000 as instructed in the sky book.
You can change chanels, volume etc but if you press the tv guide, box office, services or interactive button the tv changes from sky to freeview. The only way I can seem to get around this is by switching the sky box off then pressing the tv guide, box office, services, interactive buttons which will then which then switches the sky box back on and straight into that menu.
Has anyone got any ideas to stop it changing to freeview when this button is pressed?

Are you pressing the Sky button then select first before pressing them so it doesn't?0
