September Pin Money Savings Challenge

I am going to really make an effort this month and join all the challenges! Don't normally set a target for pin money challenge but think I will aim for £25 this month towards my credit card debt and see how I get on! I'll be counting spare change and bogoffs onlt cos I find that makes it more managable. What we've been doing is taking out cash every week and at the end of the week any that's left goes in the money jar, so this should add up quite quickly. Will also pop the cash for any bogofs in.Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72Debt Free Date [strike]Nov 2012[/strike] August 20110

I'm going to join in with the PIN money challenge for the first time.
I'm going to save mine up for a breadmaker! How Old Stylie is that?!
Not only that I'm going to buy one second-hand. I don't want (can't afford) to buy a new one, just in case I don't use it as often as I plan to.
There was one for sale in my local paper last night for £15 but it had already gone by the time I phoned up.I'm now bidding on one on Ebay. My max bid (incl postage) is £20 so that's my PIN money target for this month.
*Edit: Now been outbid but still determined not to spend more than £20 on a second-hand model.
PIN Money Savings so far:
Coupons: £4.57
BOGOFs: 99p
Current running total: £5.560 -
I was going to join in with this this month but ive been offered a flat which i have to furnish, eeek! I have bought a book which im going to log all my incomings/outgoings in so i will set myself a virtual pin target of £30 but not go for an actual this month so i can then spend it on stuff for the flat.
Already off to a good start with the furniture, just bought a 3 piece which is less then a year old off ebay for £36!!!!! bargain of the year for me lol.
Good luck everyone!

Decided to make an effort with some of these challenges this month - this pin money one looks interesting & manageable!
I'll start with a target of £15 - no particular goal in mind yet, just saving more money somewhere will do!

Have got off to a better start than I expected, was only aiming for £25 but forgot we were doing our 1st car boot sale today, so have already beaten that! We only made about £30 but at least we got rid of some stuff which would otherwise have just gone to charity shops. So have changed my target to £50 for sept, and should hopefully beat this as we plan another car boot in 2 weeks time. Am very motivated now to pay off our debts as soon as we can and every little penny helps!Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72Debt Free Date [strike]Nov 2012[/strike] August 20110

Oooh am STEAMING along so far!!
Virtual savings, due to supermarket multisaves = £ 4.45
Actual Pin Money = £ 21.54 made up of:
1) linen deposit refund given when I returned caravan keys, which I didn't know you got so that was a nice surprise!!
2) 3p interest in my (then) empty savings account
3) £10.47 mystery shopping wage received on Friday but moved to savings account this morning.
4) 58p in the pocket of a pair of jeans in the dirty washing basket
5) 46p made up of 5s, 2s and pennies in my purse
I have decided that every night I will put all small loose change into my stash but use it for bus fare and replace it with 20p or 10p so I don't end up having tonnes of copper hanging around the house.April 2006 - £9790.26dr. DFD - March 20110
