Kuwait airways.....possible to reserve seats?

Options
Hi all,

i've booked two tickets for my bf and i for a holiday in june.

just called kuwait airways up, and was told that i cannot reserve my seats (ie: i cannot pre-book my seats in the aircraft). the lady i spoke to said that its on a first come first served basis.

i just want seats that are next to each other as its a bit of a kill joy if we are seated 10 rows apart. i dont mind turning up at the airport earlier to try and get adjoining seats, but we have to transfer so i would really like to make sure that we get the adjoining seats on both legs of the flight.

Kuwait Airlines FF program is the Oasis Club, so I would check if simply signing up for that permits you to book a seat. It won't give you access to prefered seating, (bulkhead, exit row, twos, etc) but it might permit you to book seats elsewhere.

If not, I really would not worry because as long as two people check in at a sensible time, the odds on them being seated apart with any carrier is minimal.

To be honest, I'd be more worried about Kuwait Airlines safety record.

    Only kidding. :)

At Heathrow you will get boarding passes for your second flight where you would be guaranteed seats next to other - and as Tojo says, by checking in early you are almost 100% guaranteed seats next to each other (unlike lo-cost carriers, scheduled airlines want to sit you together to minimise problems!).

However, I would be more worried about what to do in the worlds most tedious, pink airport when you are transitting!;)

I cannot imagine that there will be any difficulty about getting seats together.

A far more serious problem is that they do not serve alcohol!
