I have very stupidly picked up my laptop by holding the screen while open and it has made a horrible black splodge appear on the screen.
Just wondered if any body has any advice or ideas as to the best way to repair this.
It is a Dell Inspiron 1300 WIDE SCREEN 15.4" WXGA (1280X800) LCD PA
Im glad that I did it myself as would have been even madder if someone else had done it!!!!
Thanks in advance for any help.

No, the screen is going to have that "splodge" forever, you have crushed the Crystals. It will probably get worse. You need to get a quote from Dell to replace the screen.0 -
Or find a screen and replace it yourself if you're happy taking it apart. There are usually plenty for sale on ebay. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
